The predictive mode Texinfo support shares much in common with the LaTeX support, but Texinfo is a somewhat simpler markup language than LaTeX (TeXnically they're both TeX, of course!). With the default settings, Texinfo support is enabled automatically when predictive completion mode is turned on in a Texinfo buffer, via an entry in predictive-major-mode-alist (see Major Modes).
